DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

The NBA brings a trio of Game 2's on Tuesday, with the Wizards and Bucks trying to steal a win on the road while the Pelicans try to take a 2-0 lead back to their house. Adding some excitement to the night is plenty of action on DraftKings, so let's take a look at some players with favorable matchups who could help you win some money.

Guards

John Wall, WAS at TOR ($9,100): Wall missed over two months with a knee injury, but logged at least 33 minutes in the final four games that he played during the regular season. He was on the floor a lot again in Game 1, scoring 61.8 DraftKings points in 39 minutes. He was an inefficient 6-for-20 from the field, but he still scored 23 points to go along with 15 assists and four steals. The Raptors are a tough defensive team, but volume alone will give Wall a high ceiling throughout this series.

C.J. McCollum, POR vs. NO ($6,700): The Pelicans stole Game 1 on the road largely because of the shooting struggles of McCollum and Damian Lillard. McCollum finished 7-of-18 from the field, but he did hit four three-pointers on his way to 32 DraftKings points. The Pelicans allowed the fourth-most DraftKings points per game (42.9) to opposing shooting guards during the regular season, leaving McCollum an excellent option to consider despite his results in Game 1.

Malcolm Brogdon, MIL at BOS ($4,300): Even though Game 1 went into overtime, it's still encouraging to see Brogdon was able to play 32 minutes. He missed over two months with a quad injury and this was only his third game since he returned. He finished with 27.5 DraftKings points and won't be priced this cheap much longer if he gets extended minutes again in Game 2.

Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL at BOS ($10,600): Giannis was his usual dominant self in Game 1, scoring 67.3 DraftKings points before fouling out in overtime. His 31.3% usage rate during the regular season ranked seventh in the league, so the Bucks will lean on him heavily again in Game 2 to try and bounce back from a tough loss. He has similar upside as the other top priced forward in Anthony Davis, but Giannis might be the better option since he is $800 cheaper.

Khris Middleton, MIL at BOS ($7,400): Middleton proved to be a great secondary threat behind Giannis in Game 1, finishing with 31 points on 20 shot attempts. He provided value in several other categories as well, resulting in 57 DraftKings points. Slowing down Giannis is no easy task that can be performed by just one player, so it's going to open up shots for Middleton as a result. While scoring over 30 points again in Game 2 might be too much to ask, Middleton can still produce enough across the board to be a viable option at this price.

Marcus Morris, BOS vs. MIL ($5,800): Morris proved to be one of the offensive leaders for the Celtics in Game 1, scoring 21 points on 20 shot attempts. With Kyrie Irving (knee) out for the playoffs, Morris is one of the better offensive players still left standing on the Celtics roster. He doesn't normally provide much in the way of assists or defensive stats, but he should be able to score and rebound enough to warrant considering him for your entry.

Centers

Al Horford, BOS vs. MIL ($7,300): Horford rolled the Bucks in Game 1, finishing with 56.5 DraftKings points. He was aided by overtime as he played 44 minutes, but the Celtics are going to rely on him to play big minutes throughout this series. The Bucks allowed the second-most DraftKings points per game (55.4) to opposing centers during the regular season, so don't hesitate to put Horford into your lineup Tuesday.

Serge Ibaka, TOR vs. WAS ($5,600): Ibaka had a strong finish to the regular season, scoring at least 31.5 DraftKings points in six of his last seven games. He carried that success over into Game 1, posting a double-double on his way to 46 DraftKings points. He shot 8-for-11 from the field and while it's unlikely he will be that efficient again in Game 2, he'll still play plenty of minutes and have a large enough role overall to be worth considering if you don't want to pay up for Horford.

John Henson, MIL at BOS ($4,600): Henson blocked six shots in Game 1, helping him score 26.5 DraftKings points. His seven points and six rebounds weren't overly impressive, but his 37 minutes were encouraging for his prospects for the rest of the series, even considering the game went into overtime. His upside isn't off the charts, but he can still provide value if you want to go really cheap at center.
