White was traded to the Lions from the Bills on Sunday in exchange for quarterback Thaddeus Lewis, BuffaloBills.com reports.
ANALYSIS
As far as minor trades go, this one seems win-win for both teams, as each player might have been cut anyway. The Bills can see if Lewis is a better fit than Matt Leinart to fill out their QB depth, in the wake of injuries to Kevin Kolb and EJ Manuel, while the Lions get a possible depth linebacker who might be a better fit for their style of defense. At the very least, White is a very good special teams player.
