With just one weekend left in the regular season, many fantasy teams are closing in on a league championship. However, pitching options are becoming scarcer now that teams have less to play for. As such, one way to overcome this obstacle and win a championship can be to grab a pitcher off waivers and stream him to close out the season. With that in mind, here are some inexpensive pickups for the final weekend of the year.

TYLER CHATWOOD - COL

Chatwood had his fair share of struggles this season as his 4.65 ERA would suggest, but the right-hander is back in the Rockies' rotation and appears to be closer to his 2016 form. In his last four starts, he has a 3.32 ERA and a pair of victories. It's less than desirable that his remaining start is at home, but an assignment against a Dodgers squad with nothing to play for certainly could make for a decent streaming option at this point in the season.

SETH LUGO - NYM

Sure, Lugo was blasted by the Cubs relatively recently, but his final scheduled start will make his fantasy owners water at the mouth. The righty will face the Phillies, who have the second-most losses in the National League and are hovering around .500 during the month of September. He also allowed just one run while posting a 10:1 K:BB in his last two starts. All in all, this is a good time to have Lugo rostered.

BLAKE SNELL - TB

I'm sure plenty of people were banking on Snell taking a step forward this season, but he seemed to finally be finding his groove in the Rays' rotation prior to a disastrous outing against the Yankees. In his two starts prior to that, the young southpaw allowed just one run on four hits. His control is still a bit suspect, but with a matchup with the struggling Orioles (1-8 over their last nine games), he could prove to be a nice streaming option.

CARSON FULMER - CWS

Blister injuries are annoying to deal with for pitchers, but prior to the issue, Fulmer showed why he was drafted so highly out of college. In the two starts before the injury, he produced two victories, allowed just two runs and posted a 14:4 K:BB in 12 innings of work. A date with the Indians isn't ideal, but Cleveland is another team with nothing to play for, so another strong performance from the 23-year-old isn't out of the question.
