Antetokounmpo will make his first career start Sunday against Old Dominion, David Jablonski of the Dayton Daily News reports.

Antetokounmpo is averaging just 15.0 minutes per game this season, but the 6-10 freshman has already shown flashes of his potential. In the second game of the season -- a loss to Hofstra -- Antetokounmpo turned in a double-double across 26 minutes off the bench and 5-of-8 shooting. He had four blocks in that contest, and leads the team through three games with seven rejections. Now in the starting lineup, his statistical ceiling will be even higher, provided he can hang on to the job.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Antetokounmpo (lower leg) is expected to return to the fold and be back in action by Dayton's first game of the 2017-18 season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Antetokounmpo suffered a tibia fracture in early July while training with the Greek national team, but should be ready to go ahead of the Flyers' game against Ball State on Nov. 10, according to head coach Anthony Grant. The 19-year-old will make his first collegiate appearance this season after sitting out last year as a partial qualifier.

Antetokounmpo suffered a non-displaced tibia fracture while training with the Greek national team in Europe, Marcus Hartman of WHIO TV 7 reports.

The severity of his lower leg injury is not yet known, but Antetokounmpo will fly to Athens this week to be reexamined before returning to the United States for follow-up examination. The 6-foot-10 forward was forced to redshirt last season but is eligible to take the floor for Dayton during the 2017-18 campaign.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Antetokounmpo was deemed a partial qualifier by the NCAA on Sunday, and will redshirt for the 2016-17 season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Antetokounmpo will have to wait a year to start his collegiate career. He will be allowed to practice with the team but can't play and will need to display enough progress academically to be eligible for the 2017-18 season.
