Gak (knee) was on the court and collected three blocks during Sunday's exhibition victory over Tampa, the Gainesville Sun reports.

Gak has been scrimmaging with the team in practice, and appeared in an earlier exhibition against Florida Gulf Coast. Although he suited up, reports surfaced that the big man was still limited by a minor knee injury. With consistent game action now under his belt, it's likely safe to say Gak will be available for the team's Nov. 13 opener against Gardner-Webb. The sophomore will have a bigger role in the early part of the season, as he'll provide post depth until senior big man John Egbunu returns from a knee injury in January.

Gak was able to play in the scrimmage against Florida Gulf Coast, but is still limited with the knee injury, Kevin Brockway of The Gainesville Sun reports.

According to coach Mike White, Gak looked "more confident" on the court, which is clearly a good sign heading into the final weeks of the preseason. Although it hasn't been determined whether Gak will be ready to play during the team's season opener against Gardner-Webb on Nov. 13, he doesn't seem too far off from getting back into the rotation.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gak (knee) has been able to partake in half-court scrimmages during practice, the Gainesville Sun's Kevin Brockway reports.

It's expected that Gak will take the next step forward and play in full court five-on-five scrimmages next week, although the team continues to take it easy with the big man. Coach Mike White has stated that this wasn't a serious injury ever since he went down with the setback in early October, and it appears as though he could be fully recovered by the time the Gators face off against Gardner-Webb on Nov. 13 to open the 2017-18 regular season.

Gak (knee) is taking part in non-contact drills, Kevin Brockway of the Gainesville Sun reports.

Gak looks to be making progress from where he was at this point last week, but he remains on the sidelines when the team begins five-on-five scrimmages in practice. Florida opens their regular season just under a month from Wednesday, and although they are optimistic about Gak's status, nothing is certain at this time.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gak (knee) has yet to return to practice, Kevin Brockway of the Gainesville Sun reports.

Gak has been dealing with a knee ailment since the start of practice, but coach Mike White doesn't believe it to be a long-term concern. As a team, however, the Gators will likely head into the season thin in the frontcourt if their forwards don't get healthy fast. Isaiah Stokes is nursing an undisclosed ailment as well, while John Egbunu (torn ACL) will be out until at least the midway point.

Gak (knee) was in full uniform during Thursday's practice, but didn't participate in any activities, Kevin Brockway of Gatorsports.com reports.

Head coach Mike White said that Gak should be able to return to practice by next week, and stressed that his injury is "nothing serious." During 15 games last season, Gak averaged 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in just over five minutes per contest.

Gak (foot) recorded two points and two boards in Wednesday's victory over Arkansas.

Both a foot injury and his spot on the depth chart have led Gak to miss seven straight games, but the reserve big man was able to contribute in Wednesday's SEC victory. The 6-11 freshman should now be available as a depth option for the Gators in the postseason. Gak, a three-star recruit from Australia, should grow into a bigger role in the 2016-17 season.

Gak (foot) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's game against Arkansas, Landon Watnick of Yahoo Sports reports.

The freshman forward has not played since the start of February and has been dealing with a foot sprain for the past couple of weeks. With starting center John Egbunu (knee) out of the remainder of the season, Gak could now see extended minutes off the bench and give the Gators the additional frontcourt depth they need.
