McLemore (ankle) posted a video online of himself dunking and lightly scrimmaging, Justin Ferguson of SEC Country reports.

McLemore's sophomore season ended early after he tore up his left leg, suffering injuries to his ankle, tibia and tearing ligaments during a February game against South Carolina. Originally, the rehab time was predicted to last between 4-to-6 months, and a little less than four months later the big man is back to lightly playing basketball. McLemore figures to be Auburn's starting center when the season opens in the fall.

Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl said Monday that the season-ending procedure McLemore underwent a day earlier to address a dislocated ankle, fractured tibia and torn ligaments went "extremely well," James Crepea of AL.com reports. Pearl believes that McLemore's recovery timeline will trend closer to the shorter end of the projected 4-to-6 month window.

McLemore suffered the gruesome lower leg injury in the first half of Saturday's loss to South Carolina and was ruled out for the season following his surgery Sunday. The absence of McLemore, who started 21 of Auburn's 27 games and averaged 7.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per contest, will create a big void in the middle for the Tigers, with reserve centers Horace Spencer and Chuma Okeke expected to see elevated roles as a result.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

McLemore will undergo surgery Sunday to repair the dislocated left ankle, fractured tibia and torn ligaments in the same leg that he suffered in Saturday's 84-75 loss to South Carolina. He'll miss the rest of the season and require 4-to-6 months of recovery time, Josh Vitale of the Opelika-Auburn News reports.

It was fully expected that McLemore's season was over after he suffered the devastating injury with 1:23 remaining in the first half Saturday when he got tangled up with South Carolina's Wesley Myers. The loss of McLemore, Auburn's starting center, is a significant one, as the 6-foot-7 sophomore was averaging 7.4 points and 5.3 rebounds in 19.4 minutes per game. His absence the rest of the way should open up more run for reserve big men Chuma Okeke and Horace Spencer.

McLemore will undergo surgery on his dislocated ankle Sunday, Justin Ferguson of SEC Country reports.

The Auburn big man suffered a gruesome ankle injury in Saturday's loss to South Carolina and was diagnosed with a dislocated ankle shortly after being stretchered off the court. McLemore will have surgery Sunday, which will almost certainly put an end to his season. If that is the case, McLemore will end the season averaging 7.7 points and 5.3 rebounds with 21 starts to his credit.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

McLemore has been diagnosed with a dislocated ankle and is being transported to a local hospital for further evaluation, Josh Vitale of the Opelika-Auburn News reports.

This is awful news for McLemore, who had to be stretchered off the floor after suffering a gruesome-looking ankle injury during Saturday's matchup with South Carolina. The diagnosis of a dislocated ankle almost assuredly means McLemore's season is over, but further confirmation on his timetable should be available later in the weekend. Auburn will have to lean on Mustapha Heron and Horace Spencer up front for the foreseeable future.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

McLemore has gone back to the Auburn locker room with a leg injury, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Depth was already an issue for Auburn, which makes the loss of McLemore for potentially the rest of Saturday's game and beyond all the more concerning. According to Laura Schute of SEC Country, McLemore had to be stretchered off the floor following the injury. Mustapha Heron will likely have to shoulder the bulk of the power forward minutes for as long as McLemore is sidelined and Horace Spencer will hold things down at center. More information on the extent of McLemore's injury should be available later in the weekend.

McLemore provided 13 points (4-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, three steals, and two blocks in the win over Kentucky on Wednesday.

The 6-7 sophomore had his third double-double and first in SEC play. He played a season-high 30 minutes because he tends to get in foul trouble, but it was Horace Spencer who was in foul trouble in this contest. McLeomre is averaging 7.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks.
