Hopkins sat out Saturday against Cal Poly and is out indefinitely due to a back injury, the Mountain West Wire reports.

Hopkins had started every previous game for the Bulldogs this season, and had recently begun heating up. Prior to an early exit last Tuesday, he had recorded performances of 26 and 29 points. Now that Hopkins is out indefinitely, look for Sam Bittner and Bryson Williams to both see extra run. Both were in the starting lineup in Saturday's victory.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hopkins suffered a back injury during Tuesday's game against Cal State Bakersfield and will not return, Robert Kuwada of the Fresno Bee reports.

Hopkins missed his only shot of the night and added an assist before leaving the game in the first half of Tuesday's contest. The exact severity remains unclear, though he'll likely have additional tests performed after the game to get a better idea of the severity. Until another update is released, Hopkins can be considered questionable for Saturday's matchup with Cal Poly.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hopkins had 18 points (7-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven assists, six rebounds and four steals over 32 minutes in Wednesday's win over Colorado State.

The junior turned in an all-around performance against the Rams, outperforming his season averages in points, rebounds, assists and steals. The guard has now swiped two or more steals in each of his last four games, bringing his average up to 2.3 per game, which is good enough to rank 14th nationally. He is also averaging a career-high 12.3 points per game, the first time in his career he has averaged in double figures.

Hopkins will transfer from Colorado to Fresno State, Robert Kuwada of the Fresno Bee reports.

It appears that with Colorado being a larger school, Hopkins was not expecting to see an increase in playing time anytime soon. Now, in transferring to Fresno State, Hopkins will look to see more playing time and make a bigger impact on the court.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hopkins will transfer from Colorado, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Hopkins averaged 5.8 points and 3.3 rebounds in 21 minutes per game last season. He may be looking for more playing time going forward, so could look to transfer to a smaller school where he could see more court time.

Hopkins (ankle) had five points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3 Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and a steal over 23 minutes in Sunday's victory over Stanford.

Hopkins had been dealing with an ankle injury, but returned to resume his regular share of minutes. The stat line was typical for the sophomore, as Hopkins typically leaves most of the scoring to fellow guards Askia Booker and Xavier Johnson.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hopkins did not play in Colorado's Thursday night loss to California, this the result of an injured ankle, the Associated Press reports.

With Hopkins out for Thursday night's game, freshman Dominique Collier produced two points, two rebounds, a block and a steal in his first-ever collegiate start. No word yet on Hopkins' status for Sunday's contest between Colorado and Stanford.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hopkins (ankle) failed to score a point on 0-of-3 shooting over 16 minutes of action in Saturday's road loss to UCLA.

Hopkins had scored in double figures for three straight games before suffering the ankle injury, but that momentum halted following a one-game absence. The sophomore guard is averaging 10.0 PPG so far in Pac-12 play, and will look to get back on track Saturday against Utah.
