Iroegbu provided 17 points (7-12 FG, 3-5 FT), five assists, three rebounds, and one block across 33 minutes during Thursday's 78-59 loss to Arizona.

The senior guard was one of the lone bright spots for Washington State on the offensive side of the basketball, as he knocked down over 50 percent of his looks and dished out five assists. He's shooting the ball at an increased rate as of late, averaging 12.6 field goal attempts over the past eight contests, compared to 8.1 field goal attempts in the first 18 outings of the season. He's also dishing 5.5 assists per game over the past eight games, which is quite the hike from the 2.8 assists per game he was averaging over the first 18 games. Overall, it looks like Iroegbu's production is trending upwards, a good sign for his team and fantasy owners alike.

January 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Iroegbu scored a season-high 22 points (6-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 9-13 FT) with 10 assists and seven rebounds in the win over Arizona State on Sunday.

Iroegbu had his first double-double of the season and second 20-point game (both in his last three games). The 6-2 senior had not topped five assists prior to Sunday, but he put it all together against the Sun Devils. Iroegbu has only hit 30 percent of his 3-pointers (15-of-50).

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Iroegbu scored a season-high 20 points, while adding eight rebounds and four assists, in Saturdayís win over Colorado.

Averaging just 9.8 points per game in Pac-12 play coming in, Iroegbu slashed through the Colorado defense en route to his best performance of the season. The small forward has had a disappointing senior campaign compared to last year, despite averaging over 33 minutes per game. This outburst may be a sign of better things to come as conference play continues.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Iroegbu tallied up 15 points (3-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 8-10 FT), five rebounds, and three assists in 34 minutes during Sunday's loss to San Jose State.

Iroegbu is producing similar numbers seen in his junior season, averaging 12.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 31 minutes per game. He's been very accurate with three-point shots this season (57 percent), but hasn't taken nearly as many deeps shots per game as he did in 2015-16.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Iroegbu will return for his senior season, Jeff Goodman of ESPN reports.

The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 12.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 31 minutes per game as a junior last season. With advice from NBA scouts, Iroegbu should return to Washington State with many pointers to improve upon for his final college season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Iroegbu scored seven points and recorded two rebounds, an assist and a steal Sunday as Washington State fell to California 80-62 at home in Pullman.

Iroegbu shot just 2-of-9 from the field, but made all three of his free throws to finish Washington State's third-leading scorer on Sunday. The junior also tallied his tenth assist in five appearances and fourth steal in three showings in the loss. The 6-2, 190-pound guard has struggled to find the basket as of late, converting just eight of his last 34 attempts and tallying no more than eight points in each of the Cougars' last four matchups. That finds Iroegbu now averaging a mere 8.8 points a game in the month of February, well off the 13.3 points a showing generated to this point in league play. At the same time, however, the Sacramento, CA native has actually seen an increase in his overall numbers off the glass against Pac-12 opponents since Feb. 1 (4.2 v. 3.3) and currently trails only Josh Hawkinson as WSU's top rebounder on the year.

February 4, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Iroegbu scored 20 points (6-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-10 FT), to go along with seven rebounds, four assists and one steal across 37 minutes Wednesday versus Arizona.

The junior was relatively inefficient from the field in this game, as he usually attempts over 10 shots per game and has made 51.1 percent of his attempts so far this season. However, Iroegbu sees over 30 minutes per game, so the 37 minutes he saw versus the Wildcats isnít an anomaly. Point being, his playing time isn't going anywhere. Iroegbu will look to resume his normally efficient ways Saturday against Arizona State.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Iroegbu led all scorers with 27 points and produced three rebounds, an assist and a steal Saturday as Washington State fell to Colorado 75-70 at home in Pullman.

The Pac-12's leader from beyond the arc heading into Saturday hit just 1-of-4 shots from long range versus Colorado, but proved an extremely effective inside scorer in the loss, finishing just one point shy of matching a career-high 28 set on Jan. 9. The junior also contributed three rebounds for the fourth time in six appearances and tallied an assist and a steal each against the Buffaloes. The guard has now topped double figures in five of seven outings against Pac-12 foes, including 25 points in two of those same games. Iroegbu subsequently remains one of two Cougars currently averaging 10+ points a showing on the year and adds a team-high 3.8 assists a start to his overall numbers.
