Rodriguez is moving back into the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Kansas, ESPN's Jeff Borzello reports.

An ankle injury hampered Rodriguez down the stretch and led to him coming off the bench the last two games. However, after scoring 20 points in 29 minutes against North Carolina State on Thursday, it's clear that Rodriguez is back to full strength heading into Saturday's matchup with the top-seeded Jayhawks.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rodriguez scored 20 points (8-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) in the win over NC State in the NCAA Tournament on Thursday.

Rodriguez had been limited by an ankle injury down the stretch for the Pirates, but did come off the bench in the Big East tournament. He played 29 minutes against the Wolfpack and should be counted on for major minutes against Kansas on Saturday. The 6-6 senior is leading Seton Hall with 17.9 points.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Seton Hall head coach Kevin Willard revealed that Rodriguez is nursing an ankle injury, but will be available for the Pirates' first-round NCAA tournament game Thursday against North Carolina State, Jon Rothstein of FanRagSports.com reports.

Rodriguez, who has appeared in all but one of Seton Hall's 30 games this season, is averaging 17.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.8 treys and 1.0 steal in 30.2 minutes per contest. While the Pirates' top scorer may not be moving around at full speed Thursday, the senior shouldn't face any restrictions with his minutes in what could be the final game of his college career.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rodriguez (ankle) returned from a three-game absence and played 16 minutes in the loss to Butler on Thursday in the Big East tournament. He provided eight points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and two boards.

Rodriguez's four-year career at Seton Hall concludes with his scoring average improving in each season. He averaged 17.8 points on 50.3 percent from the field. He could return to the starting lineup next week in the NCAA Tournament.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rodriguez (ankle) will participate in a light practice Monday, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.

The senior forward has now missed three games in a row, but the team is hopeful Rodriguez will be able to return for the start of the Big East tournament Thursday. Though Seton Hall has managed a 2-1 mark in the recent stretch without Rodriguez, they'll need his 18.1 PPG scoring average if they intend on making a splash in the tourney. With fellow forward Ismael Sanogo (ankle) on the shelf as well, the Pirates are very fortunate to have picked up a first-round bye, giving key members of their frontcourt an extra day of rest.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rodriguez (ankle) warmed up with the Pirates and participated in the Senior Night festivities, but did not play in the win over Butler on Saturday.

The senior missed his third straight game. He could be available on Thursday for the Big East tournament and the Pirates could certainly use their leading scorer, although they have won two out of three without him. Freshman Myles Cale has moved into the starting lineup.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Rodriguez's (ankle) availability for Saturday's game remains up in the air, but his presence -- or lack thereof -- at practice and how his body responds if he does participate will likely determine his status for the contest, Zach Braziller of the New York Post reports.

Conflicting reports about Rodriguez's status for Saturday surfaced following Wednesday's game against Butler and Braziller's update doesn't provide much clarity. Practice later in the day should provide a better glimpse at his chances of playing, but he could wind up a game-time decision for the matchup.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Despite a previous report from Zach Braziller of the New York Post indicating Rodriguez (ankle) is considered doubtful for Saturday's matchup against Butler, Adam Zagoria of The New York Times relayed that he expects to play in the contest.

Considering it's Senior Day for Rodriguez, it wouldn't be surprising if he attempts to give it a go for the final time at the Prudential Center. The senior forward has built on his previous season in each of his last three campaigns, culminating in an impressive year four in which he's averaging 18.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.0 steals per contest. More information on Rodriguez's status should arise closer to the tip, providing clarification on his potential availability.
