Tshimanga announced Tuesday that he will transfer to Dayton.
ANALYSIS
Tshimanga, a 6-foot-11 center from Montreal, spent his first two college seasons at Nebraska. As a sophomore, Tshimanga averaged 4.0 points and 4.6 rebounds in 13.6 minutes per game, but saw his role decline down the stretch. That prompted him to pursue opportunities elsewhere, with the big man ultimately identifying Dayton as an optimal fit. He'll sit out the 2018-19 campaign in accordance with NCAA transfer rules before having two seasons of eligibility remaining beginning in 2019-20.
