Plans to leave Cleveland State

Kenic announced Monday that he expects to leave the Cleveland State program and said he has submitted his paperwork to enter the transfer portal, Jeff Borzello of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Kenic revealed his intention to leave the program only a couple days after Cleveland State fired head coach Dennis Felton and three assistants. Due to those circumstances, Kenic is optimistic that he'll be granted a waiver from the NCAA that would afford him immediate eligibility at his next stop. The 6-foot-9 power forward averaged 9.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 three-pointers in 23.3 minutes per game while starting 28 of Cleveland State's 31 contests as a sophomore in 2018-19.
