Freeman said Tuesday that he will withdraw from the 2023 NBA Draft and return to Akron for the 2023-24 season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
After receiving feedback from the NBA's Undergraduate Advisory Committee, Freeman determined it was in his best interest to return to stay in school for his fifth and final year of eligibility in 2023-24. The 6-foot-7, 206-pound forward is coming off a career-best senior season in which he averaged 16.8 points, 11.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 blocks in 31.3 minutes per game over 33 appearances.
