Healthy again after shoulder surgery
GNebraska
July 25, 2019
Cheatham (shoulder) joined the Nebraska basketball program in July and said he's 100 percent healthy, the Omaha World-Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Cheatham announced April 20 that he would spend his final season of college at Nebraska as a graduate transfer, concluding a five-year odyssey that featured stops at Marquette and Florida Gulf Coast. After leaving Marquette early in the 2017-18 campaign and after requiring season-ending shoulder surgery last December, Cheatham will head to Nebraska having only played in 15 games over the past two years. Cheatham may need some time to shake the rust off as a result, but he should at least challenge for a starting job or pivotal reserve role after averaging 13.2 points and 4.8 boards per game for Florida Gulf Coast in 2018-19.
