Thybulle led the Huskies with 17 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), but it was the senior's defense that stood out, as he picked up six steals and five blocks in the 64-55 victory.
Thybulle got off to a bit of a slow start in his senior year, but he's been able to show elite defensive capabilities of late. He's had five or more steals in seven of his last eight games, while registering a combined nine blocks over his last two. Although he's spent four years in school, he's racked up plenty of experience and is likely to reach 100 starts by the time his career is finished. Thybulle could end up as a nice bargain pick if he falls to the second round of the NBA Draft, which is roughly where's he's projected as of late-February.
