Head coach Eric Musselman said Drew (Achilles) is unlikely to come to a decision on whether he'll play or take a redshirt this season until mid-January, Chris Murray of Nevada Sports Net reports.
ANALYSIS
Drew continues to rehab and recover from a torn Achilles that he suffered in February, though he appears to be making solid progress as Musselman added that he's back to dunking a basketball again. While that's a step in the right direction, it looks like Drew's status will remain murky for the first couple months of the season. In his place, look for Cody Martin to handle some of the on-ball duties in Nevada's starting lineup.
