Krampelj, who is recovering from ACL surgery last January, suffered a sprained ankle in a scrimmage last week, the Omaha World-Herald
Up until the ankle injury, Krampelj had looked exceptional, tallying two layups and a three-pointer over the first two minutes of the contest. He ultimately finished with 14 points prior to the awkward fall that led to his exit. There hasn't been much of an update on Krampelj's situation since the Oct. 7 scrimmage, but Creighton will play their first exhibition game against Winona State on Oct. 27, so prospective fantasy owners should have a much better idea of his availability at that time. Krampelj is expected to eventually step into a starting role following a sophomore campaign in which he averaged 11.9 points and 8.1 rebounds, but his health risks limiting his availability in the early part of the season.
