McPherson has played an extremely limited role for the Argonauts since his he was signed back onto the team one month ago as he's only appeared in one game. Additionally, with Ricky Ray returning from the DL this past week, McPherson would have fallen even further down the depth chart. He'll now enter free agency and play the waiting game in the hopes that another organization will scoop him up.
