Davis was released from Winnipeg's practice roster Friday, Darrin Bauming of Blue Bomber Game Day reports.
ANALYSIS
Davis was sent to the practice roster in late August after his production steadily declined throughout the summer. Out of game action since Aug. 12, the 25-year-old will now head to the free agent market. Assuming he doesn't get scooped up by another team for the CFL's last two months of the season, the wideout will end his 2016 campaign with 32 receptions, 291 yards, and one touchdown.
