ACC

Hot

Virginia running back Keith Payne is on pace for only about 900 rushing yards this year, but that has not stopped him from being a fantasy beast all season. Payne has scored 10 touchdowns in his last five games and has a total of 15 for the season.

North Carolina wide receiver Dwight Jones did not record more than 43 receiving yards in any of his first five games but he has exploded onto the scene recently. Over the last four weeks, Jones has hauled in 28 passes for 612 yards and three touchdowns.

Cold

Florida State running back Jermaine Thomas ran for 386 yards and six touchdowns in his first six games, but he has been forced to share the carries in recent weeks and has not been very productive. Thomas has been limited to single-digit carries in each of his last three games, and he has totals of 94 rushing yards, 28 receiving yards, and zero touchdowns over that span.

Clemson quarterback Kyle Parker threw six touchdown passes over the first three weeks of the season, but he has been held to a total of only three over the last six games. Parker is not putting up good yardage totals either, so he has not been much help to fantasy owners of late.

Big 12

Hot

Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden threw for a season-high 435 yards and three touchdowns in last week's blowout of Baylor. Weeden has thrown multiple touchdown passes in all but one

Big 12

Hot

Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden threw for a season-high 435 yards and three touchdowns in last week's blowout of Baylor. Weeden has thrown multiple touchdown passes in all but one of his nine games this season and has thrown just one interception over the last three weeks.

Baylor running back Jay Finley has really picked up the pace over the last four weeks, both in terms of yardage and touchdowns. Finley ran for just 304 yards and one touchdown in his first six games, but he has picked up an astounding 600 yards and seven touchdowns over the last four weeks.

Cold

Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert is on pace for nearly 3,000 yards and has thrown just four interceptions all season, but his production over the last few weeks has been only minimal. Gabbert has thrown just two touchdown passes over his last three games, and he has failed to complete 50 percent of his passes in either of his last two games.

Nebraska wide receiver Niles Paul had a 131-yard effort in Week 7, but he has been limited to just two catches for 26 yards in the two games since. Paul has been held to 31 receiving yards or less in five of the eight games he has appeared in this season.

Big East

Hot

Cincinnati wide receiver D.J. Woods has recorded at least 10 fantasy points in all but one of his last six games. Woods put up decent numbers last week with Zach Collaros out with a knee injury, so he should only benefit from Collaros' return in Week 11.

Syracuse running back Delone Carter has run for over 100 yards in each of his last two games and four of his last six. He is on pace to top last year's total of 1,021 rushing yards.

Cold

After hauling in 16 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns in his first four games, Connecticut wide receiver Michael Smith has been held to just 14 catches for 160 yards and no scores over his last four.

Louisville wide receiver Doug Beaumont averaged more than 80 yards in his first three games this season before missing two contests with a knee injury. Since returning in Week 6, Beaumont has averaged only about 30 receiving yards per game and has not scored.

Big Ten

Hot

Illinois running back Mikel Leshoure has been camping out in the end zone in recent weeks. Over his last three games, Leshoure has scored six times on the ground and three more times through the air. That's including a five-touchdown effort against Michigan last week. Leshoure is on pace to finish with over 1,400 yards from scrimmage this season.

Although Illinois held Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson to a season-low 62 rushing yards in Week 10, he still took care of business for his fantasy owners by throwing for a season-high 305 yards and three touchdowns. Robinson has recorded multiple touchdowns in all but one game this season.

Cold

Indiana wide receiver Tandon Doss has been held to 15 receptions for just 112 yards over the last three weeks. The Hoosiers face Wisconsin and Penn State in the next two weeks, so don't expect a significant improvement in Doss' numbers.

Northwestern tight end Drake Dunsmore made a ridiculous touchdown catch last week, but he was held to 30 yards or fewer for the fifth time in eight games. Dunsmore had 523 receiving yards last season, but he is on pace for only about 350 this season.

Conference USA

Hot

Dominique Davis has been a fantasy beast in his first year as East Carolina's quarterback. Davis threw for a season-high 413 yards and five touchdowns against Navy last week, giving him 16 total touchdowns over his last four games and 33 for the season.

Houston wide receiver Patrick Edwards has been on a touchdown binge of his own. Edwards has hauled in 33 passes over the last five weeks, 10 of which have gone for scores.

Cold

Marshall running back Martin Ward has not run for more than 45 yards in a game since Week 2 and now appears to be in a backup role behind Tron Martinez.

SMU wide receiver Darius Johnson topped the 100-yard mark twice and caught five touchdown passes in his first seven games, but he has been held to just 116 receiving yards and no scores over his last three games.

Independents

Hot

Over his last five games, Navy quarterback Ricky Dobbs has thrown eight touchdown passes and run for seven more. Dobbs does not put up many passing yards, but he has made up for it by averaging over 70 rushing yards per game.

Cold

Army wide receiver Austin Barr caught eight passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns over the first five weeks, but he has been held to just four receptions for 35 yards and one touchdown in the four games since.

MAC

Hot

Western Michigan wide receiver Jordan White has exploded for 30 receptions, 467 receiving yards, and five touchdowns over his last three games. White has recorded at least 119 yards in five of his nine games this season and is one of the elite wideouts nationwide.

Ball State quarterback Keith Wenning is having an up-and-down freshman season. Wenning has thrown nine interceptions over his last four games, but he has also tossed 10 touchdown passes and run for two more over that span.

Cold

Bowling Green quarterback Matt Schilz is also having an interesting freshman season. Schilz is completing over 60 percent of his passes and averaging more than 220 passing yards per game, but he has thrown just five touchdown passes compared to nine interceptions.

Kent State wide receiver Sam Kirkland recorded 31 receptions and 411 receiving yards in his first six games, but he has hauled in just 12 passes for 82 yards over the last three weeks.

MWC

Hot

Air Force quarterback Tim Jefferson has already accounted for 700 more total yards than he had all last season. Jefferson has been finding the end zone a lot lately as well, as he has recorded 12 total touchdowns over his last six games.

TCU wide receiver Josh Boyce played only a minimal role earlier in the season, but he has developed into one of the Horned Frogs' top threats of late. Over the last four weeks, Boyce has hauled in 16 passes for 366 yards and five touchdowns.

Cold

Channing Trotter was UNLV's top running back last season, but he has ceded the job to freshman Tim Cornett of late. In fact, Trotter has barely seen the field at all in recent weeks. Trotter has just seven rushing attempts for five yards in the Rebels' last four games.

San Diego State running back Walter Kazee scored three touchdowns in his first four games, but he missed the Aztecs' next three games with an injury and has run for just 33 yards in his two games since returning. Ronnie Hillman will continue to see most of the work in San Diego State's backfield.

Pac 10

Hot

Wide receiver Jeff Maehl has become a big fantasy factor in Oregon's high-powered offense. Maehl has scored at least one touchdown in his last seven games and is averaging over 80 yards per game this season.

Arizona wide receiver Juron Criner is also putting up big numbers out west. Criner has topped the 100-yard mark in three of his last five games and has scored four times over that span.

Cold

Running back Allen Bradford has been a non-factor in the USC backfield in recent weeks. Bradford has received just 13 carries in the last three weeks, including just one in Week 10.

Arizona State wide receiver Mike Willie hauled in four touchdown passes over his first six games, but he has been limited to no scores and just 53 total receiving yards over the last three weeks.

SEC

Hot

Georgia wide receiver A.J. Green is doing his best to ensure he will be the top receiver taken in next year's draft if he declares. Green has caught at least one touchdown pass in five of the six games he has appeared in and is averaging 85 receiving yards per contest.

Kentucky quarterback Mike Hartline has jumped onto the fantasy scene this season. Hartline has thrown at least two touchdown passes in five of his last six games and has totals of 22 touchdowns (one rushing) and 2,674 yards through the air.

Cold

Vanderbilt quarterback Larry Smith has thrown for a total of only 265 yards over his last four games, and he has only thrown one touchdown pass over that span as well.

Since running for 157 yards and five scores in Week 8, Georgia running back Washaun Ealey has run the ball just 17 times for 53 yards and one touchdown in his last two contests. Those numbers did not help those owners who started Ealey coming off his big game.

Sun Belt

Hot

North Texas running back Lance Dunbar has been on a roll of late. Dunbar scored just twice in the first four weeks, but he has found paydirt eight times and racked up 723 total yards over his last five games.

Louisiana-Lafayette's Brad McGuire has served as both a short-yardage specialist and fill-in quarterback this season, but he has been productive in both roles. McGuire probably has not been started in many leagues, but he has recorded multiple touchdowns in four straight games.

Cold

Arkansas State wide receiver Allen Muse topped the 100-yard mark twice and hauled in three touchdown passes over his first five games, but he has been held to just 105 yards and no touchdowns over his last four outings. Dwayne Frampton has seemingly taken the top wideout spot on the team.

North Texas wide receiver Darius Carey caught four touchdown passes over his first five games, but he has been held to just one touchdown - on the ground - over his last four contests.

WAC

Hot

Fresno State running back Robbie Rouse totaled a monstrous 311 total yards in a Week 10 victory over Louisiana Tech, including 43 carries for 286 yards. Rouse is also getting into the end zone - he has scored five times in the last three weeks.

Nevada quarterback Colin Kaepernick threw for season-highs 320 yards and five touchdown passes last week. Kaepernick has now accounted for at least three touchdowns in six of his nine games this season.

Cold
