A transfer from Colorado, Hirschman will compete with Kyle Pohl for the starting quarterback role at Akron. Although he arrives from a BCS school, Hirschman's pedigree is modest at best, and Pohl could very well hold him off for the starting job. If Hirschman does find himself on the field, though, he could be a strong fantasy asset in MAC-only leagues due to Akron's pass-happy offense and fairly talented group of receivers.
