Josey will bypass his senior season and enter the 2014 NFL Draft, Joe Schad of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing most of the past two calendar years with a major knee injury, Josey came back strong and as good as ever for Missouri in 2013, rushing for 1,166 yards (6.7 YPC) while picking up 16 touchdowns on the ground. Given the short shelf life of NFL running backs, it's hard to blame Josey for declaring pro early in order to avoid the risk of another debilitating injury during his senior season.

Josey exploded onto the scene in 2011, rushing for 1,168 yards and nine scores on just 145 carries, before a knee injury ended his season prematurely. He redshirted in 2012 as the Tigers transitioned to the SEC, and is probably thankful after watching this offense struggle immensely. Spring returns on Josey indicate he’s healthy, but his burst doesn’t seem to be fully back. If it returns, he could give this offense a much needed jolt, but he’s merely a speculative flier at this point.
