Antoinne Jimmerson

Jimmerson served as the backup to Brandin Byrd over the last two years, even though Jimmerson was the more productive one for significant stretches of that time span. Byrd graduated in the offseason, though, and now Jimmerson will get the chance to take up a feature back role that allowed Byrd to accumulate 1,075 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground in 13 games last year. Purdue transfer Reggie Pegram is around to steal carries, though, so Jimmerson might not get a chance to truly carry the offense after posting 990 yards (4.6 YPC) and 12 touchdowns on the ground the last two years, adding 298 yards and five more touchdowns on 23 catches.
