Baylor: Darryl Stonum's New Home
July 21, 2012
Stonum will transfer to Baylor and is expected to be eligible for the 2012 season, AnnArbor.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Considering Stonum's remarkably bad off-the-field record, Baylor's willingness to gamble on him is a convincing testament to the fact that the former Michigan wideout possesses rare athletic talent. With that said, the explosive receiver and kick returner will probably have trouble making a fantasy impact in a Baylor receiver rotation that already includes Terrance Williams, Tevin Reese and Lanear Sampson. It appears as if 2012 will be Stonum's only remaining season of eligibility.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2012
2010
Stonum will transfer to Baylor for the 2012 season after getting kicked off the Michigan team. He's a very explosive athlete with a lot of natural talent, but he's probably only worth monitoring due to the presences of Terrance Williams, Tevin Reese and Lanear Sampson at Baylor.
Stronum has struggled as a receiver over the past two seasons, disappearing down the strech last season and finishing with only 13 catches in 12 games. He was the starting kick returner all season, and will attempt to utilize his speed and talent to produce as a receiver for Michigan.
