Kirby Vorhees News: Leads WSU in rushing again
Vorhees can feel much better in his second game with Washington State with 67 rushing yards on 13 carries to help lead the Cougars to a 36-13 victory over San Diego State on Saturday.
In the season opener the junior led Washington State with only 19 yards against Idaho. Vorhees will look for his first touchdown as a Cougar when they take on North Texas on Saturday, Sept. 13. The Mean Green rushing defense is in the top 50 in the nation, but their competition has been weak so far this season. In 2024, North Texas rush defense was near the bottom in the country.
