2013 will be Hover’s third season as the full-time placekicker for the Mustangs. Last season he made just 18-of-29 attempts (62.1 percent) after connecting on 8-of-10 in 2011. You can probably find someone better.

Hover was accurate in 2011, but didn’t get many opportunities to display his kicking skills, making 80 percent of his field goals, but only attempting 10 of them. He did, however, get plenty of chances to kick extra points, making 38 of his 40 attempts. Hover may not get many more opportunities to kick in 2012. If his field goal attempts don’t go up this season, his value takes a serious hit.
