Coach Mark Whipple said Broadnax (right knee) has "looked healthier" recently, Mass Live.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Broadnax had missed some practice time with an undisclosed injury. He is at least behind Jamal Wilson and Lorenzo Woodley on the running back depth chart for UMass, so he has no fantasy value right now.

2013 Fantasy Outlook
Broadnax is tentatively expected to serve as Massachusetts’ top running back in 2013. In fantasy football terms, though, that could amount to almost nothing. Massachusetts was miserable in 2012 and yet, after averaging 2.7 yards per carry last year, Broadnax will see his entire offensive line remade heading into 2013. It seems as if things couldn’t get worse for UMass, but it would be best not to rule anything out.
