Quarells will transfer from Iowa to Southern Illinois, Bobby La Gesse of Landof10.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Quarells transferred to Iowa in July of 2017 from New Mexico, but ended up missing the first few weeks of team practices due to NCAA issues and was ultimately unable to become a contributor once allowed to play. Without a clear path to playing time once again heading into the upcoming campaign, Quarells will test his luck at a smaller school in Southern Illinois, which should give him an opportunity at more playing time right away.
