Isreal announced Wednesday that he will transfer from West Virginia when the spring semester concludes, Bob Hertzel of the Times West Virginian reports.
ANALYSIS
After a strong season in the junior college ranks with Butler Community College in 2016, Isreal transferred to West Virginia last summer but never saw a snap with the Mountaineers. It's unknown if Isreal plans to head to another FBS program or transfer to the FCS ranks, where he would be eligible to play immediately in 2018. Israel has two years of college eligibility remaining.
