ANALYSIS
A lower leg injury put Walker's status in some jeopardy heading into the Owls' matchup with Navy in the AAC Championship game, but the senior quarterback was able to play through it and put on a mistake-free performance. He didn't throw an interception in any of his last three starts and he finished out the year with 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while throwing for 2,899 yards. With Temple's bowl game nearly three weeks away, Walker should be close to 100 percent by the time the Owls take the field to face Wake Forest. That said, more updates on Walker should be provided as Temple gets into its bowl practice schedule.

Walker began last season near the bottom of the depth chart behind Connor Reilly and Clinton Granger, a duo that combined for 829 yards (5.1 YPA), two touchdowns and three interceptions. Walker was worlds better, establishing himself as one of the nation's best young QBs by throwing for 2,084 yards (8.3 YPA), 20 touchdowns and eight interceptions while adding 332 yards and three touchdowns rushing. He dominated the final five weeks, throwing for 1,486 (7.8 YPA), 15 touchdowns and five interceptions while running for 233 yards and three touchdowns. He will have to overcome the loss of top wideout Robbie Anderson, as well as three-fifths of his offensive line, though.
