Carta-Samuels will not start Friday's game against Wyoming, as head coach Mike Bobo has elected to move forward with Collin Hill under center, Kevin Lytle of The Coloradoan reports.
ANALYSIS
Carta-Samuels failed to move the ball efficiently during Colorado State's loss to Boise State in Week 8, finishing with 238 yards, two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions. He was replaced by Hill in the fourth quarter and will sit in favor of the sophomore this weekend.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
After sitting behind Jake Browning at Washington for the past few seasons, Carta-Samuels is now primed to take over at Colorado State as a graduate transfer. Although he's had limited experience, he was a highly sought after recruit coming out of high school, and he's ahead of Collin Hill on the depth chart and is the prohibitive favorite to start. Carta-Samuels possesses a strong arm with just enough speed and athleticism to pose as a threat on the ground. Carta-Samuels figures to thrive within Colorado State's prevalent passing attack, as the Rams averaged 288.5 yards per game through the air a season ago (ranked 24th in FBS).
