Leading team in carries
FBArmy
October 24, 2018
Woolfolk has taken 114 carries for 459 yards and seven touchdowns in seven games this season.
ANALYSIS
Playing in the wishbone offense, the ball has a tendency to find a variety of players out of the backfield, but Woolfolk has set himself apart by being only one of two players with more than 51 carries this season. The other, quarterback Kelvin Hopkins, has 496 yards and 110 carries, making the two a dynamic duo for the Black Knights out of the backfield. Army plays Saturday at Eastern Michigan before returning home to take on rival Air Force the following week.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Woolfolk was an impressive weapon for Army throughout the 2017 campaign, as he rushed for 812 yards and 14 scores while averaging 5.2 yards per attempt. He’ll return as the No. 1 back, and he stands to lead the offensive charge with first-year quarterback Kelvin Hopkins on track to start the season under center, although Andy Davidson could challenge Woolfolk for carries after finishing off an impressive 2017 season (627 yards averaging 5.4 yards per carry). Nevertheless, Woolfolk should be a safe fantasy play as Army leads the FBS in run play percentage at 92.02.
