Knee
April 10, 2019
Cooper (knee) won't take part in any of spring practice, Rob Howe of Hawkeye Nation reports.
ANALYSIS
While Cooper won't get a chance to state his case this spring, head coach Kirk Ferentz listed him among the candidates to replace Nick Easley as the starting slot receiver for the 2019 season. That's a fairly valuable spot in the Hawkeyes' offense, as Easley finished 2019 tops on the tea in catches (52) and led all wide receivers in receiving yards (494) and touchdowns (five).
