Tilford entered the transfer portal Tuesday, Brian Pederson of SB Nation reports.
ANALYSIS
After spending four years with the program, Tilford will join former Arizona quarterback Kevin Doyle in the transfer portal. Over 21 games in his career, he rushed for 363 yards and four touchdowns on 52 carries. The running back will explore other options, and he'll have two years of eligibility remaining. Arizona will look to four main backs in Michael Wiley, Drake Anderson, Darrius Smith and Stevie Rocker to carry the load in 2021.

Ethan Padway rounds out our Conference Preview series with his breakdown of the PAC-12. While Khalil Tate and Bryce Love rightfully get plenty of publicity, Washington's Myles Gaskin has proven time and again to be an elite fantasy option as well.
2018 Fantasy Outlook
Tilford saw limited opportunities last season, rushing 13 times for 121 yards and two scores. He's slated to start the year as the No. 2 back behind J.J. Taylor, who's likely to get most of the touches along with quarterback Khalil Tate, although given Arizona's run-heavy offensive style, there should be plenty of carries for Tilford. With the departure of Nick Wilson and Zach Green at running back, Tilford could be in line for a breakthrough season in 2018, especially when taking into account a promising first season, and his background as an elite recruit. What's more, Tilford's size advantage over Taylor could net him more goal-line carries than his backfield counterpart.
