Heading to Ohio State
QBOhio State
April 28, 2019
Hoak accepted an offer Saturday to transfer to Ohio State.
The move likely isn't playing time oriented from Hoak, as the Buckeyes' starting quarterback job has seemingly been locked up by Justin Fields, but new head coach Ryan Day was in need of some depth with Matthew Baldwin putting his name in the transfer portal. Last season in four games, Hoak completed 13 of 26 passes for 167 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He has two years of eligibility remaining, and as a grad transfer he'll be available to start using those years immediately.
