Feels strong during camp
WROklahoma State
August 16, 2019
McKaufman (knee) is progressing well without knee brace as a safety net, Scott Wright of The Oklahoman reports.
ANALYSIS
After tearing his ACL nearly one year ago, which cost him his 2018 season, McKaufman feels stronger than ever before. He was cleared to remove his knee brace at the start of summer workouts and has never felt more powerful. The 6-foot-6 receiver has gained 20 pounds of muscle since he transferred to Oklahoma State in 2017 and feels as though his improvement in muscle mass has allowed him to be more physical on the field. He is currently competing with senior Jordan McCray and freshman C.J. Moore for playing time on the outside.
