Jashaun Corbin
Running BackRB
Texas A&M Aggies
2019 Fantasy Outlook
Corbin was the primary backup to Trayveon Williams in 2018. Corbin rushed 57 times for 305 yards and one touchdown. Williams, meanwhile, took 252 carries for 1,524 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground. Williams was also a dynamic part of the passing game, reeling in 27 balls for 278 yards and another touchdown through the air. With Williams leaving for the NFL, Corbin has the chance for a huge season as the Aggies look to fill that massive void. Jacob Kibodi may also figure into the mix, but Corbin is expected to be the starting running back entering the 2019 campaign. Read Past Outlooks
Seeing work on kick returns
RBTexas A&M
August 15, 2019
Corbin (hamstring) has been working on kick returns in addition to his running back duties this fall, Alex Miller of the Dallas Morning News reports.
ANALYSIS
Corbin was confirmed as Texas A&M's starting running back earlier this week, per Chuck Carlton of The Dallas Morning News. That doesn't mean Corbin's special teams duties are going out the window, however. Corbin showed vision and explosiveness on kick return duties as a freshman, including a return for a touchdown against Arkansas, and he'll have a role on special teams again in 2019. With Trayveon Williams gone, the runway is clear for Corbin to break out this season.
