Heading to Miami
Proctor enrolled at Miami this week and will join the football program as a preferred walk-on, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Proctor opened his collegiate career in 2016 as a preferred walk-on at Arkansas, where he provided quarterback depth for two seasons. He left Arkansas in search of playing time last season and landed at Coffeyville Community College, where he appeared in 10 games and threw for 1,117 yards to go with a 11:7 TD:INT. While Proctor has familiarity with new Miami offensive coordinator Dan Enos from their time together in Arkansas, he'll likely have a tough time earning even the top backup job. The Hurricanes will bring back three underclassmen in 2019 in Jarren Williams, N'Kosi Perry and Cade Weldon and could have Ohio State transfer Tate Martell available if the NCAA grants him immediate eligibility.
