Transfers to Rhode Island
RBNo Current School
February 24, 2020
Brown transferred from Massachusetts to FCS Rhode Island earlier this offseason, 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Brown entered the NCAA's transfer portal in October, shortly after UMass coach Walt Bell dismissed the true freshman running back for failing to meet the program's standards. Before being removed from the Minutemen roster, Brown carried 27 times for 119 yards. Since he appeared in four games or fewer in 2019, he'll qualify for a redshirt and retain four years of eligibility as he moves on to Rhode Island.
