Stoudemire announced Jan. 15 via his personal Twitter account that he committed to FCS Rhode Island, joining the program as a graduate transfer from Arkansas.
ANALYSIS
Stoudemire entered the transfer portal in early December following four years with the Razorbacks program, during which he accrued no statistics. He'll likely have a clearer path to reps at the FCS level, and Stoudemire should have the opportunity to get on the field quickly with the Rams holding a spring season after having their 2020 campaign cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
