Hunt announced Wednesday via his personal Twitter account that he will enter the transfer portal with the intention of leaving UL Monroe as a graduate transfer.
ANALYSIS
Hunt is moving from the Warhawks following two seasons with the program, as he joined UL Monroe in 2020 as a JuCo signee. He made eight appearances for UL Monroe -- all in 2020 -- completing 70 of 129 attempts for 742 yards, six touchdowns and four interceptions while adding 18 yards and another score on the ground. After tumbling down the depth chart at quarterback in 2021, Hunt will look to land with a program that can present him with a clearer path to playing time.
