Brown logged just five tackles across the past two seasons with Michigan State and ended up sitting out the final four games of the 2022 campaign while serving a suspension for his involvement in a postgame incident that occurred in the Spartans' Week 9 loss to Michigan. The 6-foot-4, 247-pound defensive end was then dismissed from the program earlier this month after he was arraigned on two gun charges. Since Brown is a second-time transfer -- he began his career at Minnesota in 2020 before landing at Michigan State in 2021 -- he'll require a waiver in order to be able to compete at the FBS level in 2023.
