Third Match Preview: Durban Heat vs. Cape Town Blitz

In the third game of the Mzansi Super League, Durban Heat will face Cape Town Blitz in Durban on Sunday. The home side will be playing their first game in the tournament and will be eager to begin with a positive result.

In the batting department, Heat will be relying on veteran opening batsman Hashim Amla and explosive left-handed batsman Sarel Erwee to score bulk of the runs, whereas in the bowling department, the focus will be on Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan, who will surely going to be a trump card for the home side in the all-important encounter.

Hashim Amla – 10 Cr

Second in the list of key players features Durban Heat's Hashim Amla. The veteran opener, who is returning after an injury layoff, is a proven campaigner in every form of the game and can be an excellent purchase, considering his experience of playing at both international and league-level T20 cricket. Valued at 10 Cr, Amla has played 139 T20s, where he has scored 4,121 runs at an average of 33.23 and strike-rate of 128.82, which included two centuries and 27 half-centuries.

Dawid Malan – 9.5 Cr

Last in the list features Cape Town Blitz's Dawid Malan. The 31-year-old had a disappointing outing with the bat in the tournament opener and will be eager to turn things around in the game on Sunday. Valued at 9.5 Cr, Malan is the kind of player who can prove to be a trump card as he has the ability to play big innings and he can also play as a power hitter. Till now, Malan has played 151 T20s, where he has 3,914 runs to his name at an average of 32.61 and strike-rate of 126.42, which also included two centuries and 23 half-centuries.
