Perth Scorchers are out of contention for a spot in the final four, but Melbourne Stars are still in it although the Scorchers' formidable line-up poses a huge threat at home. With their party already done, the Scorchers would hope to mess up a few plans and ruffle the top four of the League in the latter half.
Stars, on the other hand, have been superb even when things haven't gone their way fully and are in contention to be late candidates for a final berth. Their new combination has tested the best of teams and Stars could indeed make a late bid for the title given their balance and strategies.
Conditions: Bouncy wicket with loads of carry. Encourages shot making but bowlers in it all the while.
Wicket-keeper: Cameron Bancroft (9 credits)
Bancroft has been showing his grit and temperament in strife and is a great player to have in your fantasy side. Aside from opening the batting, he has shown good character out in the middle in tough situations and shoulders be a great pick for Sunday.
Batsman: Glenn Maxwell (9.5 credits)
If Maxwell gets going, things can change for the Stars quite quickly. A belligerent player when on song, Maxwell will love the true bounce at Perth and batting at 4, he is best suited to exploit the middle overs rut of the Scorchers. He is a great pick in your fantasy side if you are still wondering.
All-rounder: Marcus Stoinis (10 credits)
