DraftKings CS:GO ESL RtR Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings CS:GO series.

Games (EDT):

  • 12:30 p.m: GODSENT (GOD) vs. FaZe Clan (FaZe)
  • 12:30 p.m: North (N) vs. c0ntact Gaming (cG)
  • 4:00 p.m: Astralis (A) vs. Dignitas (DIG)
  • 4:00 p.m: Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) vs. Heretics (HER)

GODSENT (3-1) vs. FaZe Clan (4-0)

The first match of the main slate is a European clash at the top of the Group B table, with the undefeated FaZe Clan taking on second-place GODSENT. This match looks close in the table, but with this FaZe Clan side in immaculate form, they come into this match as heavy favorites and their prices reflect that. Despite only one match separating these two teams, FaZe Clan occupy the four highest-priced spots as they look to move to a dominant 5-0. If GODSENT want to upset the table they will look towards Maden and STYKO, who have both shown fine form in the Road to Rio. The value in this match could come from a huge upset, with GODSENT firing on all cylinders, looking to upset the star-studded FaZe Clan. If FaZe can play to their usual level then the form of NiKo and broky could headline any lineup in what could be a statement from the group leaders.

  • GOD Players to Target: Maden ($9,600 Captain, $6,400 Flex), zehN ($9,900 Captain, $6,600 Flex)
  • FaZe Players to Target: NiKo ($13,800 Captain, $9,200 Flex), coldzera ($11,400 Captain, $7,600 Flex)

North (1-3) vs. c0ntact Gaming (0-4)

The next match of the early block is at the opposite end of the table, with winless

GODSENT (3-1) vs. FaZe Clan (4-0)

North (1-3) vs. c0ntact Gaming (0-4)

The next match of the early block is at the opposite end of the table, with winless c0ntact looking to take down an out-of-form North. This match could prove to be one of the closest of the day, with both teams seemingly unable to find form or rhythm in ESL Road to Rio. The key for both teams will be star performers playing to the level they've shown previously and picking up the slack for their supports. Namely, aizy and Kjaerbye from North, who have both struggled to provide the firepower that North need. The duo match up against the Finnish AWP of ottoNd, and the rifling prowess of EspiranTo, with both looking to take c0ntact off the bottom of the table. While this match looks to be tightly contested, if North can show the level that saw them rated near the top of the group, they should have the ability to standout.

  • N Players to Target: aizy ($11,100 Captain, $7,400 Flex), Kjaerbye ($10,800 Captain, $7,200 Flex)
  • cG Players to Target: ottoNd ($11,400 Captain, $7,600 Flex), SHiPZ ($9,000 Captain, $6,000 Flex)

Astralis (4-1) vs. Dignitas (1-4)

The third match of the day moves to Group A in the European ESL Road to Rio, as Astralis look to solidify their position at the top of the table against a Dignitas side full of veteran talent. This match could very well be the most one-sided of the day, with Astralis taking down all but Fnatic in the ESL Road to Rio, and moving back to their status of world No. 1 on Monday. Dignitas, on the other side, have struggled, looking to improve on a 1-4 record as they seek a last ditch effort at qualification from the group. This match could offer massive value from Astralis, with a strong performance putting them at the top of the group, and a Dignitas side struggling to find the firepower needed to compete. In particular, device, who has been dominant, will look to continue that form. If Dignitas want to pull off the upset, it will be on the back of GeT_RiGhT and hallzerk, who have been their strongest performers despite only tallying a single victory.

  • A Players to Target: device ($13,200 Captain, $8,800 Flex), magisk ($12,900 Captain, $8,600 Flex)
  • DIG Players to Target: GeT_RiGhT ($9,600 Captain, $6,400 Flex)

Ninjas in Pyjamas (4-1) vs. Heretics (3-2)

The final match of the slate is between two of the surprises of the tournament, as Ninjas in Pyjamas look to defend their top spot against a Heretics side that has surprised all comers on the back of excellent play from young stars Maka and Nivera. This match should be one of the most interesting of the day, with NiP featuring their Swedish lineup built around nawkk and Plopski, who have both been impeccable in Road to Rio. Maka and Nivera are two young stars announcing themselves on the international stage with dominant performances against some of the best teams in the world. While both teams feature a plethora of firepower, the deciding factor could easily be the veteran supports on both sides, with the likes of kioShiMa, Lekr0, and xms all looking to enable the stars of the match. The value could equally come from those veterans, all with the talent to take over a match, especially with the pressure on.

  • NiP Players to Target: nawwk ($10,800 Captain, $7,200 Flex), Plopski ($10,200 Captain, $6,800 Flex)
  • HER Players to Target: Maka ($13,500 Captain, $9,000 Flex), Lucky ($9,300 Captain, $6,200 Flex)
