2026 Guillotine League QB Rankings
In my "Worst Pick in Every Round" article last week, I told you to avoid Drake Maye at cost, and we saw why in the season opener - a tough matchup that only got worse when A.J. Brown (ankle) went down with an injury. Overall, I think he'll still deliver good fantasy numbers this season but not enough to justify selecting him in the third round as the second quarterback off the board.
There's not much movement in the QB rankings though. Matthew Stafford was a disappointment on Thursday night, enough so that I moved him down a few spots. Sam Darnold (hip) was already outside the starter zone, and now he plunges down the rankings with an injury that will sideline him for at least Week 2. And with an oblique injury, Tua Tagovailoa drops out of the top 300.
2026 Guillotine League RB Rankings
No season-altering news at the running back position since the last guillotine league rankings update, but seeing injury designations drop off next to certain players' names was a welcome sight. Worries about Christian McCaffrey, Ashton Jeanty, Breece Hall and others missing time were put to rest, allowing us to draft them with confidence that all will at least be on the field in Week 1.
Kaelon Black is one of the biggest risers, as he clearly has emerged as the handcuff to have in San Francisco with some flex appeal as well. George Holani also made an impression as he shared a nearly-even split in carries with Jadarian Price.
2026 Guillotine League WR Rankings
Puka Nacua (groin) didn't get off to an elite start on Thursday night, but with five catches for 74 yards on nine targets, he was one of the bright spots for the Rams in a blowout loss. I still have him as my seventh ranked player overall but just feel a lot more confident in that choice with a healthy game under his belt.
A.J. Brown's injury and move to injured reserve sends him crashing down outside the top 75 for me now. While De'Zhaun Stribling's injury slides him down as well. In related moves, Mack Hollins, DeMario Douglas and Deebo Samuel all move up the ranks.
2026 Guillotine League TE Rankings
Brock Bowers (knee) is the biggest loser at tight end this week, as news came out that he'll be sidelined for at least the first week or two. Teammate Michael Mayer becomes a relevant option for as long as Bowers is out.
2026 Guillotine League Defense Rankings
Defensive rankings remain the same.
2026 Guillotine League Kicker Rankings
There was some movement in the kicker rankings, after Spencer Shrader beat out Blake Grupe for the Indianapolis kicking job, leading to Grupe being cut and then signing on with the Jets.
