Rams-Niners games rarely lack for storylines, but their season-opening clash might be one of the best yet. It features the debut of both Myles Garrett and the NFL in Australia. I went through the full slate of NFL player props for this one and came away with three spots where the sportsbooks and RotoWire's model are seeing two different games.
Here are three NFL player prop bets that received an A+ grade from our model.
Best 49ers vs Rams NFL Player Props
Player | Bet | Price |
| Brock Purdy | Rushing Yards: UNDER 18.5 | -108 |
| Matthew Stafford | Rushing Yards: OVER 0.5 | +154 |
| Puka Nacua | Rushing Yards: OVER 0.5 | -120 |
All four of these prop bets received an A or A+ grade from RotoWire's prop betting tool. Our tool actually does the math for you — it figures out how confident we are based on our internal projections, checks what the sportsbook is truly charging once you strip out their built-in edge, and grades the bet based on how much better our numbers look than theirs.
In other words, we built a tool to help you win money. Sound good?
Brock Purdy – Rushing Yards: UNDER 18.5 (-108)
Purdy's 12.6-yard rushing projection sits nearly 35% under the book's number. He finished with fewer than 19 rushing yards in six of his nine regular-season appearances last year. The Rams have historically done a nice job keeping Purdy in the pocket, as he rushed for four and 10 yards in his last two appearances against LA.
Matthew Stafford – Rushing Yards: OVER 0.5 (+154)
This prop looks silly until you remember it only needs one yard. At +154 for a +36.5% edge and an A+ grade, he doesn't need a real run, just one stumble forward. Easy lean at that price. That's especially true considering Stafford has at least one carry in six of his last seven appearances. He finished with at least one yard in four of those seven. This is a 50-50 bet you can get at +154.
Puka Nacua – Rushing Yards: OVER 0.5 (-120)
Nacua picking up a jet sweep or end-around isn't rare at this point, and the Rams have shown they'll manufacture touches for their best skill player any way they can find. RotoWire's model backs the over here too. Nacua has at least one rushing attempt in each of his last four appearances, finishing with at least four yards in each game as well. I think the Rams will get him at least one rush, and I'm confident a player like him can get at least one yard.
