Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season kicks off with a Super Bowl rematch between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. But the season opener is basically the Super Bowl for NFL Player props. Here are my favorite Seahawks-Patriots NFL Player props to take tonight:

Best Patriots vs Seahawks NFL Player Props

PlayerBetPrice
Rashid ShaheedRushing Yards: OVER 1.5-121
Sam DarnoldRushing Yards: OVER 5.5-102
Rhamondre StevensonRushing Yards: OVER 55.5-113
Romeo DoubsReceving Yards: OVER 35.5-113

All four of these prop bets received an A or A+ grade from RotoWire's prop betting tool. Our tool actually does the math for you — it figures out how confident we are based on our internal projections, checks what the sportsbook is truly charging once you strip out their built-in edge, and grades the bet based on how much better our numbers look than theirs.

In other words, we built a tool to help you win money. Sound good?

Rashid Shaheed – Rushing Yards: Over 1.5 (BetRivers -121)

Rashid Shaheed carried the ball at least once in nine of his 12 career appearances as a Seahawk (including all three playoff games). He finished with at least two yards in six of those nine. The stats say Shaheed is very likely to get at least one carry – and that carry is very likely to go for two-plus yards. And anecdotally, a season-opener feels like the exact type of game where you'd want to try a gimmicky play, since Seattle has had all summer to practice.

Sam Darnold – Rushing Yards Over 5.5 (FanDuel -102)

Seattle dominated New England on the ground in the Super Bowl. But with both Kenneth Walker and Klint Kubiak on new teams, this offense might look a little different. Their departure could lead to an uptick in passing attempts, especially in what should be a much closer game than the Super Bowl was, thanks to better health and offseason additions in New England. Darnold has cleared this total in four of his last eight outings, and our internal projections have him going for 9.8 rushing yards tonight.

Rhamondre Stevenson – Rushing Yards: Over 55.5 (FanDuel -113)

With TreyVeon Henderson out, Rhamondre Stevenson has the backfield all to himself. It sure would be nice if that came against a less-daunting defense, but Stevenson should be able to clear this total on volume alone. Just don't expect it to look pretty. We have him projected for 72.4 rushing yards – which is right in line with his final three appearances from last year (76.3 per game).

Romeo Doubs – Receiving Yards: Over 35.5 (FanDuel -113)

We have Romeo Doubs projected for 49.3 receiving yards tonight. I think he's a good bet to clear even that mark. The Patriots are likely to be trailing, as New England is entering this one as an underdog. Doubs cleared this mark in each of his last three appearances in 2025 and he should be in for a busy day at the office against a banged-up Seattle secondary.
