Cardinals vs. Giants Betting Picks
- Trey McBride Over 67.5 Receiving Yards (-112 DraftKings) for 1 Unit
The Cardinals allowed 36 points in a loss to the 49ers last week, so they had to throw a lot to try and keep pace. McBride was targeted 11 times in the matchup, finishing with nine receptions for 75 yards. As the centerpiece of Arizona's passing attack, he has posted at least 10 targets, and at least eight receptions, in all three of their games. His target share is 30.1 percent, and he has been targeted on 33.7 percent of his routes.
McBride has thrived since Brissett took over as the Cardinals' starting quarterback in Week 6 last season. In 15 games since then, McBride finished with at least 70 receiving yards 10 times. He also received at least 10 targets in a game 10 times. The Giants are tied for the ninth-most receptions allowed to tight ends this year, so this is a matchup in which McBride can shine.

- Michael Wilson Over 57.5 Receiving Yards (-114 FanDuel) for 1 Unit
Wilson also benefited from the Cardinals' pass-heavy game script last week, catching 11 of 17 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown. He has received at least seven targets in all three games and has accounted for 41.1 percent of Arizona's air yards. His average depth of target is down a bit at 9.4 yards, but a Week 2 matchup against the vaunted Seahawks' defense in which he finished with just two catches for 18 yards has skewed that number a little. Prior to this season, he had an average depth of target of at least 11.2 yards in each of his first three seasons in the league.
The weakness of the Giants' defense is their cornerbacks. Paulson Adebo (knee) is on IR, leaving them with even less depth at the position. The status of Deonte Banks (calf) is also up in the air after he missed the last two games. The Giants are tied for the eighth-most receptions allowed to wide receivers, and they allowed Carnell Tate and Wan'Dale Robinson to both record at least 57 receiving yards in poor weather last week. Wilson could sail past this over.
- Jameis Winston Over 4.5 Rushing Yards (-114 FanDuel) for 1 Unit
The Giants acquired J.J. McCarthy in a trade with the Vikings this week, adding another quarterback option to fill in for Jaxson Dart (knee). It's still Winston's job to lose, but he hasn't instilled much confidence since taking over. He only completed 40.7 percent of his passes while coming on in relief of Dart in Week 2, then he finished with 118 passing yards against the Titans last week.
Winston had one nice run against the Titans, which helped him finish the game with 14 rushing yards over two carries. He's not the mobile quarterback that Dart is, but he's not a statue in the pocket, either. In the two games that he started last season when Dart was injured, he finished with 10 and 13 rushing yards. When he started seven games for the Browns in 2024, he posted at least five rushing yards in a game five times. The Cardinals allowed 29 rushing yards to Justin Herbert in Week 1 and 34 rushing yards to Brock Purdy last week. This is a low number for Winston to hit, making the over appealing.
Cardinals vs. Giants Prediction
Winston needs to show major improvement if the Giants are going to run their record to 3-1. Not having Burns on the field should afford Brissett more time in the pocket, which is trouble for New York when factoring in its secondary issues. Look for the Cardinals' passing attack to be the difference in this matchup and lead the team to victory.
Prediction: Cardinals 24, Giants 17
