Well well well......if it isn't Week 1 of the NFL season and the start of another fun ride with OUR Chicago Bears! After a magical 2025 season, da Bears look to continue their winning ways and an even longer playoff run. Needless to say, vibes are higher than they have been in recent memory....can Chicago continue their success and make a playoff run again? It all starts here with Week 1!

Bears at Panthers Odds
- Spread: CHI -3 (Betr) / CAR +3 (BetMGM)
- Moneyline: CHI -170 (DraftKings) / CAR +155 (theScore)
- Total: OVER 46.5 (theScore) / UNDER 47.5 (DraftKings)
Week 1 lines are always a little different because they have been out for so long, so line movement isn't much of a tell. However, there was a late move on the total today that brought the consensus up to 47.5. As shown above, you can still find some 46.5s, so if you like the over, shop around. Another factor we need to mention is the weather.....it is going to be over 90 degrees in Charlotte at game time, so depth and conditioning will be big.

Panthers vs Bears Betting Picks This Week
As I mentioned above, you can't really get a lot from line moves on Week 1. Most of them are static and there is little value to be gained by analyzing them. To me, this comes down to a road favorite that, arguably, overachieved last season. SO MANY things went Chicago's way last season, including an NFL-best +17 turnover margin. Historically, teams with a margin of +10 or better regress the next season by an average of 10 turnovers. That's a big difference. Even with all their success, the Bears were only 1-0 at road favorites last year and that was the absolutely bonkers finish in Cincy. And Chicago wasn't alone in their breakout last season; Carolina crashed the playoffs and pushed the Rams to the brink.
Dave Canales is building something in Charlotte, much of it built on protecting the home field. The Panthers are 11-5 ATS (6-2 last year) under Canales as home dogs, and I think this is a very tough starting spot for the Bears. With the stagnant lines, I'm staying away from sides and totals, but I love the value on the Carolina moneyline. This one will be fun.
