The Denver Broncos have some unfinished business after falling to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game last season. With a full season under their current system and a chip on their shoulder from that playoff loss, the Broncos look poised to make another serious run at the postseason.

I'll be listing Broncos futures odds from Colorado sports betting markets below to see what kind of expectations oddsmakers have for the team.

What the Broncos Futures Odds Tell Us

In order for Denver to get back to the conference championship game, they have to make the playoffs first, something betting apps in Colorado are putting near a 50/50 proposition (59.1% chance using our odds calculator and converting -145 odds to implied probability). After winning the AFC West for the first time in 10 years last season, the Broncos currently have the third-best division odds behind the Chiefs and Chargers.

The Broncos' AFC title odds are +1000, which highlights that they still need to do more to convince oddsmakers that they are a legitimate contender in the AFC. Much of that will hinge on Bo Nix's continued development and health. Finally, the Broncos' Super Bowl odds are +2000, which showcases that oddsmakers remain leery about declaring them a true contender for the Lombardi Trophy. Compared to the rest of the league, this puts them in the middle of the pack.

How to Bet on Broncos' Futures in Colorado

Colorado provides a fully regulated online and retail sports betting market. This gives Broncos fans the chance to legally place wagers through legal betting apps like FanDuel, Caesars, BetMGM, DraftKings, and other entities operating within the state.

  1. Sign up with a legal sportsbook operator in Colorado.
  2. Tap on the NFL logo and then find the "Futures" tab.
  3. Select your market.
  4. Add the pick to your bet slip, then review the odds and projected payout before hitting submit.

No matter which futures market you're betting on, it's worth checking at least two apps in order to find the best possible odds, and therefore, the best possible payout. Futures odds can vary much more between sportsbooks compared to single-game markets like moneylines, spreads, or player props.

Additionally, checking those same operators for available Colorado betting promos can make a real difference in your overall payout. Even at just a 25% boost or an additional +100 odds can cause a significant shift with how futures odds are typically priced. These offers are better suited to be used after you've already claimed your new user sportsbook promo, since most times you don't get the bonus until your wager has settled. If you use your sign-up bonus on a futures bet, you could be stuck waiting for months, or worse yet, it could void the offer entirely.

Key Denver Broncos Changes to Know For The Season

Unlike other teams across the league, the Broncos aren't facing much turnover on their roster or within the staff. Their biggest addition was the acquisition of wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, who looks to continue his career in Denver after spending the first five seasons of his career in Miami. Waddle immediately becomes one of the most dynamic weapons in Bo Nix's arsenal, giving the Broncos a legitimate three-level threat that they lacked for much of last season. His speed should open things up underneath for the rest of the receiving corps, while also taking some pressure off the running game in obvious passing situations.

On the defensive side, Denver will need younger pieces to step up in John Franklin-Myers' absence, particularly along the interior of the line. How quickly those replacements gel will go a long way in determining whether the Broncos' defense can hold up to the standard they set a season ago.
